Mission ESW: Continuing Education for Tribal Girls
An education and digital skill support initiative enabling tribal girls to continue their studies after 10th grade through MS-CIT training and further schooling.
As part of its commitment to strengthening educational opportunities for girls from underserved communities, Mission ESW supported seven girls from tribal regions who faced the risk of discontinuing their education after completing the 10th standard.
In many rural and tribal areas, financial limitations and social challenges often lead to girls ending their academic journey after secondary school. Through this initiative, ESW helped ensure that these students could continue their studies in the 11th standard while also gaining essential digital skills through MS-CIT training. The programme was designed to equip them not only with continued access to education but also with practical competencies relevant to today’s digital world.
This effort builds upon ESW’s broader commitment to supporting girls’ education over the years. With this initiative, the organisation has now helped 22 girls from tribal communities sustain their educational journeys over the past three years, creating pathways for personal growth, confidence, and future career opportunities.
By investing in both education and digital literacy, the project aims to break long-standing barriers that often limit opportunities for young girls in remote regions. Through continued support and encouragement, ESW seeks to empower these students to pursue their aspirations and become active contributors to their communities.
