Digital Literacy & Skill Development Centre – DMH High School

Inauguration of the ESW Computer Centre at DMH High School, Ghatkopar, providing students from underserved communities with structured digital literacy and technical skill training.

The inauguration of the ESW Computer Centre at DMH High School, Ghatkopar marks a significant step toward bridging the digital divide for students from economically disadvantaged communities. Located near areas such as Nalanda Nagar, Ramabai Nagar, Kamraj Nagar, and Netaji Nagar, the centre is designed to provide accessible digital education to students who often lack exposure to essential technological tools.

The centre offers foundational to intermediate-level technical training, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, typing skills, digital painting, MS Office applications, and budgeting fundamentals. Future expansion plans include advanced modules such as Tally, programming, and additional technology-based learning opportunities.

By creating a dedicated learning space within the school infrastructure, the initiative moves beyond short-term aid and establishes a sustainable platform for skill development. The objective is not only to familiarise students with computers but to equip them with practical competencies that enhance academic performance, employability, and digital confidence.

This initiative was made possible through collaborative efforts and CSR support, reflecting the power of partnership in expanding educational access. Through the ESW Computer Centre, Team ESW Mumbai reaffirms its commitment to empowering students with the tools and skills required to participate meaningfully in an increasingly technology-driven world.
